I’m an easy-going, fully qualified teacher from the North-East of France.
Since 2005, I have taught French and ran my own language school for 10 years.
Having lived and worked in several countries, I understand the journey of learning a foreign language.
I now split my time between the UK and France, spending half of each year in both countries.

My goal
My objective is to help intermediate and advanced adults learners feel comfortable and motivated to learn French as it’s spoken in the real world. To achieve this, I have developed a range of techniques and engaging activities.
My teaching style
Learning a language should be lifelong, fun, and engaging. In my classes, you are encouraged to focus on communication and adopt a trial-and-error approach to learning. Each lesson emphasises speaking as much as possible to build your confidence in using French.
French and British insights
With nearly two decades of experience in the UK, I offer valuable insights into French and British cultures, systems, and institutions. This perspective allows me to explain the nuances and similarities between the two countries, as well as the evolution of their languages.
My background
I am a qualified linguist and modern language teacher specialising in teaching French at intermediate and advanced levels. Here are my qualifications:
